Common Questions From Military Couples
What if we get short-notice orders or a deployment changes our date?
Date changes happen. We hold your space and re-plan the timeline at no rebooking fee for active-duty couples with verified orders. The coordinator who builds your plan is the one who executes it — so you talk to one person, not a chain.
Do you offer a military discount?
Yes. Active-duty couples and military families receive a military-appreciation rate on all micro-wedding packages. We disclose the exact rate at your tour and on inquiry — please bring a current ID or orders to your tour.
How quickly can you turn around a wedding?
We have hosted micro-weddings on under three weeks notice — including the ceremony, reception, and a sit-down dinner. The faster the timeline, the smaller the menu options, but the core experience stays intact. Reach out and we will give you a yes/no on your date within one business day.
We are doing a courthouse ceremony — can you handle just the reception?
Yes. Many of our military couples come to us reception-only after a courthouse civil ceremony. Same all-inclusive structure — chef, bar, coordinator — minus the ceremony lawn block. Ask for a reception-only quote.
Where do guests stay? Most of our family will be traveling.
Williamsburg has roughly 4,500 hotel rooms within 10 minutes of the venue, including blocks we partner with for guest-block pricing. We can introduce you to our preferred-rate contacts at your tour.
What if it rains?
Every ceremony booking includes an indoor rain plan — typically inside the ballroom or under the terrace. The call is yours up until two hours before the ceremony. Your coordinator makes the swap behind the scenes — guests do not see the scramble.
